UCLA

JESSIE KLEARMAN earned her MFA in December of 2020, walking in June of 2021, in film and television, specializing in writing, directing and production from UCLA.

Currently, she is the Supervising Costume Designer at GoodShort, overseeing all shows, costume designing in-house shows, and visionary for the new GoodShort Melrose store for costume rentals, fittings, table reads, and the home of our podcast GoodChat!

Jessie Klearman is a born storyteller who sees the humor in every situation in her own life, and translates that onto the screen and on the page. She specializes in character development, from 10 year olds throwing a seance to young moms solving murders, she writes authentic people for the audience to bond with as she takes them on each new journey.
